His Surf School in Woolacombe has helped thousands of people gain confidence, experience & qualifications in the water.
Hunter Boardwear has grown from a distribution company formed by a core group of skaters & surfers to become one of the leading surf retailers in the South West, with 4 outlets in the North Devon area. Hunter offers a wealth of top brands, stocking clothing, hardware & accessories, as well as a great depth of experience to offer advice on any purchases. With it's own highly succesful clothing brand - 'Hunter', available in all its own stores as well as selected stockists throughout the country, Hunter Boardwear truly knows the surf industry inside & out!
In 2005, Nick Thorn & Hunter Boardwear combined forces to form the Nick Thorn/Hunter Surf Academy. We can now offer an unrivalled service, giving people the chance to take a wide variety of ocean-based courses & instruction, with the full back-up from our stores to provide any equipment, clothing or information you require.
