Our Academy is far more than just a surf school. Founded and operated by Nick Thorn, former European Ironman Champion, we are qualified and accredited to offer every form of ocean based training.
From beginner surf lessons and youth ocean safety courses, to BSA Level 3 courses allowing you to train to become a certified Surf Instructor or Beach Lifeguard we can offer it all!
Having worked as Surf/Lifeguard Instructors on Woolacombe Beach for quite some time now, Nick and his colleagues have helped hundreds of people to get into the water and up to their feet, catching their first wave or even to gain life-changing qualifications.
