Lifeguard Training

With duties ranging from liaising with other related emergency services to administering first aid, the role of a Lifeguard is a very demanding one! Nick Thorn has worked with Lifeguard Coordinators around the world to provide safer & more effective Lifeguard policies for Beach Authorities & Owners.

Lifeguards also play a great part in advising tourists of the dangers in the water, as well as advising on other beach hazards. All this combined with the obvious phsyical conditioning & skills required make gaining your Beach Lifeguard qualifications a great personal challenge.

Nick Thorn runs one of the few NARS (National Aquatic Rescue Standards) Beach Lifeguard training centres in the country, we can give you the opportunity to take the four/five day course required to gain an internationally recognized beach lifeguard qualification.

Areas of study include: First aid; Lifeguarding techniques; Use of Lifeguarding equipment; Rescue skills and Emergency Responses.
